dc.description.abstract The purpose of this study is to determine the market, technical, and economic viability of the project called "Brown Sugar Processing and Marketing Plant, which will be constituted as a mixed cooperative of partners dedicated to the production and marketing of Brown Sugar, with the purpose of increasing the socio-economic development of the sector and thus market a product that generates added value, which will be located in the municipality of San Juan de Flores (Cantarranas) 40 km west of Tegucigalpa. In order to be able to satisfy the market demand with this new product at an accessible price, with a pleasant flavor, a product that belongs to the basic family basket of the country. The general aspects such as the objectives of the research, the conceptual and referential framework for the implementation of the project were determined. Said entity will be constituted under the name of "Santa Clara Sugar Processor" and Will market Brown Sugar, under the "Santa Clara" trademark that will be distributed and marketed in the Central District. es
