dc.description.abstract The following work is based on the market study carried out on the project for the installation of photovoltaic solar panels with a bidirectional meter. the idea of this project arose from the need to produce electricity in the area of the Atlantic coast, where the rationing of light are constant, apart from that the energy consumed is at a high cost, so it is necessary to look for alternatives to generate clean energy, taking advantage of the new general law of the electrical industry approved in 2014 and reformed by the legislature on May 16, 2022 under decree No. 46-2022, which encourages the population to install this type of photovoltaic project connected to the network of the National Electric Power Company(ENEE) and using a bidirectional meter to register both the energy produced in house with solar panels as the energy that is consumed from the electrical network provided by the company, the meter is capable of sending its surplus energy that we will produce to the distribution network and at the end of the month if the user produces more than what was consumed, the ENEE must pay the customer the surplus at the price previously agreed by the Electrical Energy Regulatory Commission (CREE), according to the Law General of the Electrical Industry, if, on the contrary, it consumes more than what is produced by the solar panels, the user must pay that consumption to the ENEE. The general objective of the research is to determine if the project is feasible and if it helps the user to lower their energy service costs and avoid constant blackouts, also the benefit of the ENEE since the energy produced with this project is energy that stops buying from private thermal generators, and best of all, the contribution to the environment by generating clean energy. The use of solar resources in Tegucigalpa has had a favorable development in recent years, implementing electricity generation projects through what are called photovoltaic solar farms, supplying businesses and residences with electricity and injecting surpluses into the country's power grid. Showing the growth in the use of solar resources in private property and the evolution of this technology from 2012 to May 2019. (Sandoval, Gomez, Martinez, & Alvarez, 2020) It is concluded that, according to the feasibility investigation for the development of photovoltaic projects with a bidirectional meter, this type of project is accepted by 96.4% of the population of the Atlantic coast, especially by the inhabitants of the city of La Ceiba. The facilities of this project will be located in the city of La Ceiba Atlántida, Honduras, but it is intended to serve customers on the Atlantic coast, which includes the departments of Atlántida, the cities of Saba and Tocoa Colon, and Olanchito Yoro. The operating costs of the project for two months are L.438,092.60 with this capital it is possible to start operating since it has important assets such as the truck to transport the raw material to the installation site. The ideal location was selected for its installation and for its complete assembly with its own facilities an investment of L.2,000,000.00 is required. According to projections, its TMAR is 24.4% with a NPV that reaches L. 8,013,482.89 and an IRR of 208%, in sensitivity tests if the price decreases to 70% of the original value or, failing that, sales decrease to 70% of the original projection, the GO is L. L2,426,849.81 and an IRR of 86%, therefore This projection is the most attractive for the project. Therefore, it was analyzed that this project is viable and economically feasible. es
