Abstract

Shrimp provide a rich source of carotene (promotes brain health), beta carotene (anti oxidants), omega 3, vitamin A, among other benefits. The shrimp and jackal trader will be established in the city of La Ceiba, Atlántida, having a large and adequate facility for the storage and sale of the product. The raw material will be obtained from the southern part of the country due to the quality of the shrimp in that area due to the climate and salinity of the water. The project has a total investment of L 1,200,000.00 and qualified personnel for its operation; according to projections, an IRR has been determined to be 81%; VAN L 1,399,571.701 therefore it is shown that the study is viable and feasible, therefore, it can be carried out.
