Abstract:
This document contemplates the study that aims to determine the feasibility of establishing a milk collection and cooling center in the Community of Santa Cruz, Municipality of Minas de Oro Department of Comayagua, which provides economic and social benefits and that develops as a sustainable company. In this study it was determined that the milk production of the farmers of the community where the CREL project is intended to be carried out, is quite attractive to be able to implement it, given that the farmers of the area and surroundings, see feasible through the organization UNA significant improvement of the price per liter of milk, which conforms to a negotiation between the related parties. It describes the resources and equipment necessary for the implementation of the investment for the execution of the project, the location and optimal size for the storage and commercialization of the production. According to information obtained from producers, the approximate supply of milk is estimated to be around 7000 liters of milk per week, with marketing of 1050 liters of Type A milk, 5250 liters of Type B milk and 700 liters of Type C milk. the market and the distribution for the operation of the same. It is estimated that the project requires an initial investment of L3,651,882.96, of which 70% will be financed through BAHNPROVI funds and 30% with funds from the farmers themselves in their capacity as investors of the CREL. It is worth mentioning that a 5-year projection is made obtaining an Internal Rate of Return of 34.46%, which indicates that the investment project shows feasibility, and with expectations of generating employment and higher income levels for producers that translate into an improvement in the quality of life.
