Abstract

This research report arises from the need for a Manual of Administration and Classification of Positions and Salaries in the municipal mayor of San Francisco de la Paz, department of Olancho. The objective of this research work is to provide an administrative tool where planning, organization, direction, and control are applied, the knowledge acquired in the Master of Business Administration with Orientation in Finance was applied. The investigation arises because the Municipality of San Francisco de la Paz does not have a tool that allows them to establish internal occupations or the hierarchy of positions within the municipal mayor's office, to determine levels and ranges of jobs for guarantee adequate administration management by applying it to each of the functions performed by each employee within the mayor's office, which is why it is necessary to apply an instrument that guides the technological, organizational and social requirements of said corporation. The methodology applied to carry out this research was used the mixed design that allowed to collect quantitative and qualitative data, through different techniques interview, survey and content analysis guide, with which the data was obtained that when analyzed where it was determined that The employees are aware of the hierarchical dependence, they are aware of some of the functions they perform and the working environment of the corporation, these findings were important for the preparation of the proposal for the Manual and Classification of Positions and Salaries of the Municipality of San Francisco de la Paz.
