Abstract:
The term nanostore refers to any independent retail business establishment with fewer than five employees and that does not maintain inventory in the warehouse. A type of nanostore operated at home by family members, which sells groceries and cleaning supplies in individual presentations, is known in honduras as a pulpería. Agility, adaptability, differentiation and technological weakness were studied, due to its impact on the economy at the macro and micro competitiveness level, the continuous study of nanostore is imperative. The objective of this study was to demonstrate its impact on the performance of the tegucigalpa nanostore and the importance of improving them. The study was based on the responses of those in charge of a sample of 472 nanostore in the tegucigalpa area to a survey in which they were asked for key information on the marketing, financing and competitiveness process. Variables were studied by analysis of variance and linear regression using spss. It was found that for each unit of improvement in the agility and adaptability variables, the level of differentiation of the nanostore will increase 1.5 units. Also due to one unit of improvement in the operational inefficiency and technological weakness variables, the level of differentiation of the nanostores will increase 1.6 units. This indicates that nanostores that wish to be agile, adaptable and highly competitive should increase the value of the agility and adaptability variables by at least two units. At the same time, differentiation can also be increased by increasing the value of the variables of operational inefficiency and technological weakness.
