Resumen:
In a study titled Shrimp industry: its responsibility in the disappearance of mangroves and aquatic pollution, it affirms that "the shrimp industry represents an important branch of world food production and constitutes an elementary source of protein, employment and income, being the. Livelihood of a large part of the population of the planet¨ (REDVET, 2010). The shrimp industry represents an important contribution to the Honduran economy; This shrimp farming industry (shrimp farming in aquaculture farms) drives a greater income of foreign currency to the country received from exports, giving rise to this industry also to the benefit of direct and indirect employment. For this reason, a commercialization company of shrimps and chacalines (salted and dried shrimp) an innovative product (chacalín) is proposed in the city of La Ceiba. Shrimp provide a rich source of carotene (promotes brain health), beta carotene (anti oxidants), omega 3, vitamin A, among other benefits. The shrimp and jackal trader will be established in the city of La Ceiba, Atlántida, having a large and adequate facility for the storage and sale of the product. The raw material will be obtained from the southern part of the country due to the quality of the shrimp in that area due to the climate and salinity of the water. The project has a total investment of L 1,200,000.00 and qualified personnel for its operation; according to projections, an IRR has been determined to be 81%; VAN L 1,399,571.701 therefore it is shown that the study is viable and feasible, therefore, it can be carried out.
